ATT Discontinues Directv in Q1 2008

Just read about this. Does anyone have any scoop on what this means for existing users of Dtv thru ATT. Are we being forced onto that cruddy U-Verse? I just bought one of the HR-20s out of my own pocket...what happens to that? Can we keep using Directv if we want?

If anyone knows scoop/advice/details let us know?

Well, I just got ATT phone service and they only offered me a 2 per month discount for my DTV (existing) bundle?
