As expected PG is gone .. Denise showed her bad side and while she has made the top four, she has not done enough to win, IMHO. Obviously everyone likes Courtney .. or perhaps they thought she couldn't do the arrows in the reward challenge.
Denise just did wrong by PG .. I understand it's for a million dollars, but the reasoning was poor. Interestingly enough, the two that didn't get the reward were the two that were in the last round of the Immunity Challenge :).
Sunday night will be interesting.

I don't know why Denise thinks she can beat Todd. Todd has perhaps overplayed the game, but he has played the game and like he said seems to be the only one. Yes I think Amber has played it to some extent, but really never has had to turn the tide. Todd has taken risks and has tried to push it one way. Cortney... Well she is a non-threat, has been, always will be. I can't give votes for that.
Personally I think not taking Todd out last night was a huge mistake for some of the players and could cost them a million.
Denise.... Once again has always played safe moves. She has had a few opportunities to turn the game around and always has gone the safe route to the point of even not taken PG on the challenges when she should have to avoid any risk of thinking she will jump. Way to conservative.
Hmmm have not seen the car yet and it says 2 tribals so looks like we will have three again. 1 to get down to 3 and the final or will we get to two. I personally hate 3.. You need that final one where a person that can't win against someone gets the chance to take that person out. However, because of the typical balance one it usually ends up screwing the Physically strong.
Here is what I see happening.... the final challenge to get people into the final council will have Cortney winning on some balance act. UGH!!! I would not be surprised to see a final of Cortney and Denise.... if that happens... Well.. As tough as next season will be to watch it will even bit that much tougher. If it is a All-Star one I might actually pass on it.
I will say last nights reward challenge and immunity challenge showed how weak that final four is. This season I feel like I am watching a carnival.

If Amanda is in the final two, she wins. She bonded with Phii-gee and most of the jury are tribe-mates of Phii-gee. They'll dislike Todd and go with Phii-gee's pick, if she sways them.
If Courtney is in the final two, they'll see her more as a floater who annoyed them and vote for Todd.
if Denise is in the final two, they'll vote for Todd because she did nothing.
If Amanda goes against any of them, she wins. Todd wins against all others except Amanda.
Thus I have spaken! ;) (And if it's Courtney vs. Denise in the final two, then it's a toss up.)

That is basically how I see it, though if it was Amanda and todd.. Todd might get the nod if they actually go by taking risk and game control.
Keep in mind that they often edit the show so that the person who wins is not often seen playing much until the end, so Amanda or even Denise could be a little more of a player than we realize.
[...] if it was Amanda and todd.. Todd might get the nod if they actually go by taking risk and game control.
My thoughts also.
As for PG ... never liked her. I don't know if it was her arrogance or her throwing a previous challenge. I'm just glad that she's out of the running. I'm also glad that she'd been able to alienate many on the jury. That'll hopefully limit her ability to influense the vote.

question Re: previews
Did I miss-hear them? I thought they said that there will be 3 tribal councils. I was stoked when I heard that because it meant that we were back to the final 2 rather than the final 3.
As expected PG is gone .. Denise showed her bad side and while she has made the top four, she has not done enough to win, IMHO. Obviously everyone likes Courtney .. or perhaps they thought she couldn't do the arrows in the reward challengeI wonder if perhaps everyone thougt Courtney coldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a cannon, so they dumped all the arrows on her thinking it would give them better odds? Kind of silly, if you ask me ... wouldn't it make more sense to give one arrow to each other person, spreading them around, so one person doesn't end up controlling the game, which is what ended up happening?
Denise just did wrong by PG .. I understand it's for a million dollars, but the reasoning was poor. Interestingly enough, the two that didn't get the reward were the two that were in the last round of the Immunity Challenge :).
Sunday night will be interesting. And Amanda also did wrong by PG when she said she "had her back", yet she voted her out anyway. PG likely suspects this, and she may remember it when she's sitting on the jury ...
I think Denise has made two blunders in two votes in a row. IMHO, she would have stood a better chance to make it to the top 3 without Todd in the game, and if Amanda, Denise and PG voted Todd out, Denise would likely have been able to then vote PG or Courtney out to make it to top 3. Now, I think Denise is the next to go ...

It's confirmed that the next Survivor will be an All-Star starting in February. Word comes direct from Yau-Man, though he won't/can't give out any of the particulars....(Damn those NDAs anyway.....):nono2:

Oh.. Yeah.. I almost chocked on on my dinner when I heard he talke about playing the game in integrety.. THat is really a pet peeve of mine.
As fo playing the game more at the end.... Personally, I really wish people in the Jury would look at the game the person played rather than vote for the one that did not piss them off more. This is another pet peeve of mine and one that goes all the way back to the beginning. Remember.. Pick a number... UGH!!!

:) .. there are multiple ways to pick a winner. Most folks will end up going for the one that pissed them off the least. It's human nature. I can't say what I would do for sure, but I suspect that I would do what some folks have done and vote for the person I thought was the most crafty. If I were on there and got voted off as a juror, I very well may vote for the one person who caused me to get get voted off .. unless they pissed me off :).

I've seen them all since, and even though I only have a limited history with the show, that was my favorite season so far... so I look forward to an All-Star game, because I will probably only recognize a couple people anyway :)

Johnny Fairplay was certainly an interesting character .. He played the part of the villian better than almost anyone

As I was watching the IC, all I could think of was that it was tailor made for James. There was nothing there he could not do and would have excelled at most of it.
So he could have played his two idols and won this IC and been final four.:(
I'd love to see a Survivor featuring the likes of Dr Will, Mike Boogie, Evil Dick, Johnny Fairplay, Hatch and what-was-her-name? ... the evil first or second season b*tch.

James might have failed on the bouncing ball part, but the rest .. yeah he would have kicked butt.

Yes ... I heard that as well. :)
But alas apparently not.
