How far behind in payment does one have to be to get the Dish pay your bill nag message on screen ? I subscribe only to one channel and began that sub 3 months ago with auto-pay. I found my account suspended (I watch only every couple of weeks) , called, and they discovered auto-pay was not activated. I paid for 2 months and they waived the $5.00 re-connect fee. The very next day I have a nag message about my bill, is this because I am two days past the 15 or is it a sign that my 2 month payment which they said went through has, not really gone through ? I could call 'em but it took 15 minutes last time to straighten everything out.

Now there's a real helpful reply, must have been waiting all day for a chance to display meaningless sarcasm. :nono2: The question is : What is the usual time frame for them to activate the nag message.

I doubt that they would post a 'nag' message if you were only 2 days past-due unless the amount due on your current month's statement included fees that were past-due from the month before.
There are laws regulating debt collection practices. If your account is current and you are getting a 'nag' message two days after your due date, you may have recourse.
I mailed my pymnt that was due 11/24 late and I got an automated phone call letting me know they had not yet recvd my pymnt. But I got no pop ups on my tv or have my service interupted.

Wouldn't they just deactivate your receiver, and you would get no TV?
I think you have to be at least 60 days late before they cut you off but I am not sure I have never been in that situation.
