View Full Version : Lost MPEG4 KTVU Local in SF Bay Area

Anyone else seeing an issue with this?

My SD local feed is fine on my other D10 boxes, but my HR20 DVR just sits there on a black screen when tuning to Ch 2 (MPEG4 HD.)

I rebooted the box and re-sent the programming Authorization from DTV's website....no joy.

No status message from the DVR, no message onscreen from DTV...nothing.

All other SF Bay Area locals (SD&HD) coming in fine.

Same here, I put on the Simpsons earlier and it was just a black screen, no messages or anything. Everything else is fine just like AirShark said.

I'm hoping that this will be fixed by the morning....I'll worry about it then...

Same here. I've lost several other mpeg 4 channels too.

I checked 103b its all 0s.

Yet not every mpeg4 channel is out.

Its hit or miss. local hd 2, 5, and 9 all are searching for signals. yet 4, 7, and 11 are fine.

same deal with national networks. espn on 206 searching for signal, same with fxhd. tbs hd is fine.

I called they are like we tried everything, we want to send a tech out.

I didn't sign up for protection plan and I wasn't willing to pay 14.99 for them to visit me on 1 channel.

Plus seeing as how it wasn't just me but others too if enough of us complain they'll figure it out and fix the problem.

Just called Directv as mine is still out. They said maybe back on by 7PM PST. It is only HD Ch. 2 that is out still on my HR's.

Mines back on as well.

Nothing like a good ol' 12hr+ non-explained outage. Thanks DTV.
