How many "hearts" you have?

I read somewhere on the forums (sorry, I forgot) that an automated telephone line would tell you, but I've yet to find the number...thanks!

IIRC... the heart system is no longer in usage.

*Waiting for someone to say how "heartless" Directv has become.*

Not so much that... just that they have much more complex data mining tools now, I've been told.

I seem to recall DirecTV or the publisher announcing that DirecTV had purchased some new CRM package a few months back. They have also announced they're using credit scores when looking at customers as well.

There are all sorts of metrics that companies are using in weighing customer value. Amazon is testing a system that determines order and shipping priority based on how likely the believe the customer is to be a repeat vs. one-time buyer.

I have a credit monitoring service and DirecTV has never showed up on report other then the initial credit inquiry. So if they are using a customer's credit score as part of their rating system, they must not be accessing credit records on a regular basis.

The credit score portion is usually only for new customer sign-ups... And I would believe most the older members will tell you they never had to go through it.
I remember the first time I signed up they just needed my name, phone number, and address. Coming back they needed that, plus my credit card number (for a $25 start up fee or something...), and I think they asked me for my social, but I stepped around that...

The actual answer would be to call/email D*. But if you email them, they'll prolly tell you to call them. If you call them, the CSR might panic and not tell you, in which case, ask to speak with the technical dept.
