I haven't seen anything that I can think of.
But, if you have a home wireless network, you could always get a wireless print server, and allow any computer on your network to print from it.
Don't know if that helps you, but figured I'd throw it out there.

I don't know much about Macs of any variety but:
Are both/all computers in the same Workgroup?
Can she 'see' the printer on the Vista PC?
What happens when she tries to add it as a network printer?
The short of it is the Mac can see the printer but wants a username and password to connect to it, but no user name/password works from that PC, infact the other Vista PC's I have dont need the username password issue.

I have Macs (longtime user and fan) and PCs in my house. And the do coexist and talk in peace.
Although side by side the superiority of the Mac becomes obvious.
..sorry about that, couldn't help myself.
Anyhow, back to topic.
My Macs are intel based 10.4 machines, the pcs are not Vista but XP.
There is software available from Apple that will help both the PC and the Mac share printers. New Macs are fully networkable with pcs and will talk and share files right out of te box
This can be done.
Also, go to Apple's web site and search on "Bonjour" in the support area.
The other option is an Apple Extreme base station which is a GREAT cross platform wirelss server.
These units will automatically share any USB printer plugged into it with all pcs or macs on the network, thats what I have done and it works great.
another thought,
Try setting up a user account on the pc for the Mac lto use.
I suspect the Vista machines are already logged into the workgroup there for do not need user names and password entered anymore.
The Mac will only need this the first time it logs into the pc.
Good luck, hope some of this helps.
