No sound when HDMI OTA??

I've connected my off-air antenna to the back of my DirecTv receiver model HR 10-250, and I can bring in the video, but I'm not getting any audio. When I run the off-air antenna signal strength test in the settings menu neither of the two internal receivers is getting any signal strength, reading just zero. But yet I'm getting the video perfectly for all the local channels when tuning in to the channel being supported by the off-air antenna. Most are digital or HD stations and the picture is very good and crisp.

All Directv channels including HDTV work with the HDMI hookup!

I believe this is a known problem by others per a search I did on Google - but no one seems to have come up with a solution... Anybody on this forum have any hints or tricks? :confused:

When all else fails do a reset!!! I got this suggestion from another forum and now I have sound and signal strengths showing on OTA HD stations...
