My HR20-700, which I've had since September 2006 and has been nearly flawless, started acting really odd right after midnight on the New Year. If I tried to rewind it immediately went to the start of the buffer, and then hitting play it would freeze. Also, I tried another earlier recorded show and it just came up with a grey screen and was stuck at the 0 minute mark. I have never seen this behavior before, and after a few minutes of playing around I just decided to do a reset, which seemed to cure the problem.
It seemed to be right after midnight on 1/1 that this behavior occurred, so I'm thinking it had something to do with the clock going to 1/1/2008. I'm wondering if anyone else had this strange behavior? This unit has been really flawless for over a year - and only had very minor bugs early on when I got it way back in September 2006.
