I have been looking through discussions for the past few days trying to come up with a solution, if even a temporary one, that will help me get the Orange Bowl tonight in HD! I am a desperate Jayhawk that just can't afford to miss this game.

The game is broadcast on FOX and living in Pensacola, FL (32507) the nearest affiliate requires RED VHF according to Antenna Web. Using TV Fool I got a load of information I can't comprehend but I have shared it below.

I really only need this for today. My other option involves the cable company...I have internet through them and I'm not sure what the charge would be to "try out" their HD box and then return it...tomorrow!

Any suggestions on how I can pull this channel in? BTW I am a renter and anything I really don't want to invest in anything to permanent or difficult to install...

Thanks in advance!
Paul

Do you have an HD TV or Directv HD receiver with ATSC tuner?
If so go to Home Depot or Lowes and purchase a 5 ft or larger UHF/VHF antenna, a segment of 1 1/4 " mast , and a tripod. A segment of RG-6 cable will connect antenna to tuner.

Find a clear area outside in the direction of the tower (317 degrees) and scan for HD channels on your tuner.

With luck you'll be in business.
Probably will cost $75. or more depending on the size of the antenna.

Bigger is always better!
