P168 causes record to fail!

Well, now thanks to 168 I miss the second show of Tracker!
I had it set to record Farscape, Star Gate, and Tracker. Started watching the shows, first Star Gate, then Farscape. I noticed that well watching Farscape the red light was still on, but it was past 10pm, and Tracker should of staopped at 10pm. So after Farscape was over, I went to the Timers and it should that the 508 was still recording, hit View to watch it and got a black screen and the info was all that showed. Powered off, asked if I wanted to go to live mode to power off, hit yes, went back to timers, and I had 1 minute of Tracker!!!

What a joke! This isn't worth slow mode to me!

That's happened on one of my 501s (the one that gains/looses ~7 hours a day of stuff) a couple of times before 168, so it might be an old bug instead of a new one.

I noticed a missed recording yesterday with the new software rev. P168 as well.

Although this did not happen to me with the latest software upgrade (P168), in the past I have noticed a few timer issues for a day or so after receiving new software (such as a timer not firing). After a day or two, the problem disappears.

That is why I always reset my receiver as soon as possible after receiving a software upgrade. Resetting seems to eliminate these types of problems.

I never miss any recordings.. Can't figure out why others do?
