AU9 LNB On an AT9 Dish?

Is this possible? Has anyone done it? I was wondering if you can replace a defective AT9 side car lnb assembly with an AU9 slimline lnb assembly and retain the AT9 dish so as to avoid the remounting and re-aiming hassles associated with a new dish replacement.

I don't believe the geometry of the dish reflectors will allow this to happen. Best to replace the whole thing and re-aim. You can keep the mast, but add the monopoles.

highly doubt it.. drasticaly different designs.. at least you can use the pole :)

No It Can't Be Done The Shape Of The Dish Is Totally Different
