I have been having problems with my local hd's since the 5lnb install over a year and a half ago. Had several service calls with no help. Well, finally pixelation got real bad especially in the morning. Got a recent service call and the tech showed up and looked at the dish and hr20 and said I needed a new box. Refurbished box cam in with a bad tuner. Next call, they forgot to tell the tech to bring a new box even. Nothing fixed again.
Got hold of retention and explained I was only getting 60-70% signal. I wanted a new slimline dish and a BRAND NEW hr21.
Installer came out this morning @ 8:20am tried to weasel his way out of the job, he said everything was just fine. NO NO NO that was just not going to cut it. I told him I want the new dish and new receiver installed today. Low and behold he was done at 9:45 am with the whole deal. See what happens when people actually work instead of bitching and putting things off.
I now have high 90's to 100 % signal.:)
I am impressed with the smaller size of the slimline.

Sorry about the long rant, but it has been building for a while.

Smaller size of the Slimline? It's actually wider than the AT9, and some shorter. I"m not so sure it's any smaller overall.

It is definitely shorter gone to wider. I use to see our older oval dish over the roof line. Had a slimline dish installed yesterday, I can't even see it now.

All over smaller to me.
