Unfortunately no. The PS3 only works with bluetooth remotes :(

Amazon has a Nyko "Blue Wave" IR remote along with an IR dongle that plugs into the PS3 USB port. Many people have used the dongle with Harmony 880 remotes, as you can see by customer reviews.
