HSP Owner, or subcontractor owner who works for an HSP?

Anyway, yes, that's how it should go. Unfortunately, most HSPs do not support their workers (neither in-house nor subs) in any significant way, and routinely mess with their money. The chaos this creates quickly leads to most good people leaving and most sub owners learning to do the absolute minimum. In many cases, "favored" subs create problems that they are neither charged back for or are expected to fix, while all of those service calls (many of which end up being full re-installs) are handed off to other subs.

It's all a pathetic mess, and the results are clear from many peoples' experiences around the country, whose installers work for many different HSPs.

DirecTV has, IMO, the best TV product on the market, but they have FAR too little accountability on their installation/service side, and it hurts them far more than they even know.
