If I set 721 at remote address 2 can AUX mode on remote control 508 that sits next to it on remote address one?
This would be great but I am trying to avoid power scan if anyone knows?
Sat is the only mode that controlls the satellite receiver you will need two remotes or change codes back and forth.

Well, I'm using an MX-500 to control both. But that's a little pricey.
Everywhere else, I'm just switching back and forth between address 1 and address 2 as needed. It's a bit of a pain, but not too bad. It's hold the SAT button, then press 1 (or 2), then #.

I think that the people with two Dish PVRs in same room represent such a small fraction of buyers at large that this issue witll never be addressed.
Bob,
This is what I use for my 6000 and 501 on different remote addresses. It works well and my kids think it looks cool!!

I use a Pronto on my 6000 & 501. Granted, it's a spendy remote and requires a VERY steep learning curve and oodles of tinkering, but in the end, it's worth it.

Is that going to be the only change to the Dishpro UHF remotes or are they going to change the design or looks?

Phil,
HOw does that remote handle address 0 vs address 1 ?
My experience with universal remote is that they have a single code for say "echostar" and its only for address 0.
Does this RS remote you linked to have a separate code for each of your recievers, or does is allow the address to be specified somehow? ... or does is have a JP1 interface you programmed?
THanks in advance, Scott.
Bunkers,
I have my 501 on address#1 and the Echostar code (I am at work now and don't remember the number) worked fine including most of the PVR functions. My 6000 is set on address #4 and I used the learning function to teach it the commands.
I understand it is JP-1 compatible. I know Mark Lamutt had the tables for multiple Echostar addresses on Pronto remotes, but I don't know if they are available for the R/S-One for All remotes
