Fox cans Futurama

Your favorite scifi cartoon that Fox refuses to air is being canned. I guess they wanted to assure dismall ratings!

The show was already canned last Spring when most of the staff was laid off when they had too many back episodes yet to air.

Sticking it on a Sunday 7-8 PM slot doesn't help either, especially if you have a football contract.

Well at least Toon is airing it nighly at 11pm. I don't know how many episodes I missed due to the Sports on Fox. It reached a point where I thought the show was cancelled when it was just pre-empted many-many-many times.

I have never understood why the NFL insists on starting the games at 1:00 PM local time, if they just moved them back one hour to 12:00 PM they would avoid the conflicts 95% of the time.

A game that starts on the west coast at 12:00 PM should end by 4:00 PM PST or 7:00 PM EST...

I am sure that people on the west coast would not mind watching an early game at 9:00 AM instead of 10:00...

It's to accomondate the church-going people. Go to church in the morning, watch football in the afternoon.
