Terminator: Sarah Connor RECORDING ALERT

Just to note, pad the end of the Sarah Connor Chronicles on Sunday.

Why you ask?

Playoff football game right before it. As you know football almost always runs over and since it's the playoffs someone has to win thus it could go more then one OT. I padded by 1 and a half hours, I may change that to 3 hours now that I think about it.

So PAD, PAD, PAD. :D

Thanks for the update, I padded mine a few hours as well. Seems like NFL playoff games always go extra long.

Here on the West Coast we won't have to worry about that. The game starts at 1:30pm and Dallas won't take 6 1/2 hours to finish off the Giants.:lol:

They have put a lot of apples in this one basket of a show. I am surprised they would risk a delayed start with all the hype.

Just go into the guide and record the next several programs. That way you do not mess up your series recording with padding. That is what I did.

You won't mess up the series recording. Go into the Prioritizer and select the SL. Then choose to see episodes. If you select the episode in question and then choose Record Once, it will prompt you with the recording options for just that episode and you can alter the padding for that one episode.

I hope they finish the game on-time tonight!
Padding 30 minutes, 1 hour, even 10 hours
won't matter in my area... here's the reason:

my local Fox HD OTA channel has a nasty habit
of cutting off the program altogether.

If the football game continues past 9:30pm, the
Fox HD national feed will start Sarah Connor at
9:31pm.... halfway into the show, at 10pm, my
local Fox HD OTA station will start the 10pm
local Sunday news no matter what.... :( :( :(

They have already done this six times in the last
few months. (6 times that I'm aware of, who knows
how many more)

I just don't understand why Fox doesn't punish
the local Fox station for doing this, repeatedly!!! :mad:
It's become such a joke in this area, even the NBC and
ABC local station have done news stories about this.... :(

The game ended on time. I KNOW I had a pass for this show, I've seen the R in the guide all day. When 8:00 rolled around, it was not recording. Late guide data change?

It started and ended on time for me. No padding needed. I thought it was a very good show.

I am watching it now. Audio is real low. I had to increase the volume by 2x to get a good listening level. Is this across the board Fox or just my local WFLX?

the football was the usual bad picture quality(soft and a disgrace for HDTV)

On the other hand, when Sarah Connor started, the show had excellent
high-def picture quality! I had low hopes for the show, but it turned out
pretty good.(for a Terminator fan like myself) :D

Can't wait to watch tomorrow's episode...

By the way, I've NEVER see "Family Guy" in my entire life.... thought it was
pretty funny as well! :)
