Please read and respond here and to Susanne!
This is a very quick follow up I got from a FOXSPORTSARIZONA sales manager! It's her 2nd followup in 2 days so she is being very helpfull in trying to fix the problem, if there is any!
It's in regards to some of the FSNAZ-HD feeds which I am not receiving in tucson ( they are not scheduled in the program scheduler for 649-1) yet the same games are on the program schedule ( in HD) in other parts of the country like The West, Chicago and elsewhere! ie: the UofA/Oregon game last saturday was on FSNW-HD and a few other FS hd stations but not in tucson, AZ! She stated that the game was broadcast here, it was mandatory yet I failed to receive thegame in HD along with a few other Hidefforum tucson posters!
If any other tucson,Az DTV HD subscribers failed to get these broadcast in HD, please e-mail Susanna ! The email address will be at the end of the post! Thanks for your time!

HI Michael, thanks for reaching out to me on this.
Im not sure why this game did not broadcast in HD, as any HD game we make available DirecTV always broadcasts and we do not blackout any NCAA games in FSNAZs circle of influence, which includes AZ and NM. Ive not received any other notice of this nature, so Im hoping this is an isolated case in Tucson or a receiver issue in that region.
Again, thank you for bringing this to my attention, Ill contact my partners at DirecTV and investigate this issue. Ill be happy to follow up with I have news.
Sincerely, Susanna

Hi Mike,
Yes, we do have the option of choosing which games we air in HD as there is a significant cost associated for that upgraded broadcast. Not all of FSNAZ Pac10 games are broadcast in HD - the fox sports website is the most current HD schedule. This particular game was made mandatory by FSN on the corporate level, so it broadcasted across all of our regional network outlets across the country in HD, including FSNAZ.
Our Master control in Houston reported no transmission problems whatsoever and all other cable and satellite affiliates in the region reported no problems. Our contacts at DirecTV also report no problems with this game. This was the lone issue I’ve received regarding the game, so it may be an isolated issue in your particular zip code. I’d recommend tuning into the next HD broadcast and let me know if the problem persists, I’m glad to help where I can.
Many thanks, Susanna
