Just read the attached article. Looks as if analysts feel any talks with Rupert are just smoke and mirrors to screw Murdoch out of buying DirecTV. Apparently Charlie may be looking to stall Rupert's purchase of D* to gain ground for his own company.

I would agree its smoke and mirrors sales offer but SOMETHING is up. Charlie doesnt appear to have huis heart in it anymore:(

By now E statements should of been overflowing with althugh the merger failed were adding X number of citys in the next 6 months, plan one eventual 9o?% catrriage of LILs, have negoiations with X number of new core channelsa and are very excited with the bright competive future.

Instead we get the expected ces info and no breaking news E should of put together if the deal died.

Because of this I think its a legit sale attempt......

Or a REALLY good ploy at making your would be buyers think you have all but given up. I just find it hard to believe that a guy lik Charlie had absolutely NO plan "B". Its right there in his back pocket and we just don't know what it is yet...we aren't supposed to. Its part of the plan!
