So Standard Recievers have RF Capability?

I am new to D and am wondering what model the basic non DVR/HD recievers are and if they have RF remote capability.

I am thinking of replacing one of my DVR's with another HR-21 and would get a Standard Basic Reciever for the mirrored TV.

I need to run it with a RF remote though so I need to know before I switch.

The current standard receivers are the D11 and D12. Neither works with RF remote, both are IR only.

Why not keep the DVR you have and just add the HR21?

Another option, get an HD receiver (not DVR) - it will feed an SD TV just fine, and will support RF remote. Plus you will then have access to the HD only channels on that TV.

Reason is I thought maby I could get them to take back the DVR which I just got 3 days ago with my install,(4 Rec Total) and give me a $99 credit for it.

I need to run one from the basement for my kitchen TV, hence needing the RF.

I probably will just keep the dvr and go to Costco to get a HR-20( That is all my Costco has right now) for $169.00.
