So did they hire new writers or something? The shows seem to be getting better and better.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of Major Loren (now that Kavan Smith no longer splits time with The 4400) and wonder if he may become a love interest for Teyla? They had a warm conversation that could be just the first step to these two getting to know each other better.

And it's been a long time since I've done this, but yet another episode with no Colonel Carter, and .... once again ... I didn't miss her!

It may be due to fact the producers and writers are not split between SG1 and Atlantis. They can focus on Atlantis. I agree, the show seems better this year.

I've enjoyed the last two episodes, but I pretty much watched them back to back.

They are better, in one respect I think, because they aren't centered on McKay, letting him blather about his thought processes and himself. That character was mainly the reason I didn't always enjoy SGA.
