I reverted my HR20 back from this weekend's CE to the NR and now shortly after reboot it stops responding to the remote. Last reboot I got about 2 mins out of it before it stopped again, now I can't even re-force the software to download.

I've tried both the remote that came with it and my Harmony 659 with fresh batteries and neither works.

I unplugged it for a few mins and it's in the process of rebooting once again, any suggestions? Looks like I might have to replace it.

My HR21 did the same thing - I switched it to RF and it's working fine now. Not sure if it works or not but if you want or need IR then I'd try switching it to RF and then back to IR and see if it works.

Tried that last night after I posted, went to RF, nothing, went back to IR, it worked for about 10 mins. Wasn't able to get it to do the same thing. I also tried pushing the NR back down on it a second time with no luck. Gonna call D* and get it replaced.

Thanks for the tip regardless. :)

Could you possibly have something that is causing IR interference?

I started having problems with IR reception, tried new batteries, Harmony vs. factory remote, etc. Turns out it was my powermid remote extender. Once I moved it, everything was fine. The weird part is it never caused a problem before, sitting in the exact same spot.
