KDFW Fox4 Dallas/Ft Worth 720p-1080i??

this channel broadcasts 720p fulltime....i can confirm this if i use
OTA & hit the display button on the TV remote....but when viewing
via the hr20's i have the 1080i format light lit & when i hit the display
button it says the broadcast is 1080i....i don't know when this started
happening as i just happened to look at the lights on the receiver &
noticed it was wrong so i checked....have native ON & all resolutions
checked & also using as broadcast feature in the HDTV settings of the
receiver....wondering if this is a "as broadcast" glitch or if the conversion
to mpeg4 is upconverting to 1080i

This should probably be in the cutting edge forum...There have been issues with the format switching and the "As broadcast" mode from what I recall reading.

I can confirm that it appears to be conversion. I have a HR21 that's not running on any CE firmware. It is set to native mode and I get 1080i for Fox4 Dallas/Ft. Worth. When I switched to OTA, Fox4 came in at 720p. I confirmed the native mode by switching to ESPNHD which is coming in as 720p.
