I got Directv installed in october with the NFL Sunday Ticket deal. My installation could not have gone better, my HDDVR took a bit getting used to but in time I was happy with it. So in December I had another HDDVR installed(again the installation went superb) the problem was that I paid full price for it and since I was a new customer I had to pay a 50 dollar fee as well, bring up the price to 404.03. So needless to say when less than a month after getting it installed the price was brought down and I wasnt too happy about not knowing. I just send Directv a very polite e-mail letting them know that i love their service but that i was a bit unhappy about not knowing about the price drop because otherwise I would have waited. They replied back with a number and a pin# and as soon as i called explained the email they gave me $100 credit without having to do a whole song and dance. The CSR I talked to was polite, happy and helpful and overall my experience was very good. I was not an unhappy customer, I love Directv more than cable but I am a really happy customer right now.

Thanks for leting us know because I'm sure there are a few more people here that are on the same boat. Hopefully they can get the credit as well.
