Where do you get custom Avatars and in what format.? JPG, Bmp, Tif????

Go the top of the page.

Click on user CP.

Then click on Edit Options.

At the bottom of the page tehre is a box for custom avatars.

You will see a box for custom avatars and directions for uploading.

Either upload from your PC or give ita URL.

Make sure the yes box is cheked before hitting submit modifications.

Enjoy. But that name Mark----it has a long history to it. As does my name I suppose.

OK I uploaded a GIF file for my avatar but it never showed up.
What did I do wrong??

Well it has to with whether that box was checked at the end. IF you do a search you will find other threads on this subject. It seems that the software defaults to no avatar so you have to be careful.


But I would read the other threads. It will no doubt be helpful. I was trying to be helpful but I will probably not be reading these forums for awhile. I hope that ytou find what you need or that the admins can help you.

Mark, upload your GIF, then check the box to change your avatar then click on the save changes. It should then show up. There's a bug in the software that causes the change your avatar box to uncheck when you upload an image. If you need more info, let us know.
