Just got a 4 room D* system from ExpertSatellite.com. Got 4 GAEBOA receivers (2 refurbished) and the new tripple LNB dish with installation to all 4 rooms for 79.98 +shipping. Not a bad deal. I have a question though, what is with the contract needing to be signed? They said they would send it to me through mail and that I would be able to print it out sign it and either fax or mail it then my order will be shipped. Is this standard procedure?

not sure, but most standard contracts require, you keep it for a year and minimum of AT50. hopefully you don't have to keep the at150.

Actually, he just picked up a directv system, so he'll have to be subbed to at least Total Choice. Congrats AJ! - you've been talking about doing this for awhile now. From what I've heard, the contract signing is pretty standard - to charge you back if you discontinue your service before your contract is up, they have to have the signed peice of paper that says you agree to those terms.

Well I didnt receive my contract and it is now 12 hours later so I called. The lady screwed up my order. Not only did she not include and e-mail address but she also added 18 extra receivers! 18!! On top of the 2 that come with the dish. Now WTF is a person going to do with 20 receivers??? Well that is all straightend up but now there is another problem. We started to purchase a DirecTV system from another company back in about August but it didnt come with installation and we couldnt find someone to install it so we sent it back and we were told everything would be closed out. Well now they say I have a pending account but it can be fixed. Anyone ever go through something similar to this? Is it easy or difficult?
