Reports are that Telemundo West is uplinked now to the line-up at ch 626, on 110 satellite, on tp 12...
Not sure though if available yet or not to the "mere mortals" Subscribers that would be entitled to watch it...

I dont know how NBC would sign to a deal like this.
Is this part of the CNBC World agreement also?

It only diverts viewers from local Telemundo stations
like KVEA 52 in LA market, KSTS 48 in San Francisco,
and KNSO 51 in Fresno. KVEA even requires a second
dish, meaning an LA viewer might get Dish, but not
see the local affiliate.

NBC was the one complaining that distant (or national)
delivered broadcast signals would divert from local stations where local ad time is sold. NBC owns and operates
Telemundo. Seems hypocritical of NBC.

How come E* can add telemundo west (same programing, different time)yet it took off telemundo international on channel 626. I have the Latino package and when the telemundo international channel was taken off last year it felt like a slap on the face.Remember we also had a price increase last year.prince increased and they took out a channel! Another dollar this year and all they add is telemundo with a west cost feed.Thats two dollars now(use to be 19.99 for this package) Now im thinking to switch to D*,there Spanish and english pakage has allot more channels for 31.99 it's allot cheaper then the Latino Max for 40.99 (41.99 after increase).Anyone know if E* will add more spanish programing,or add the rsn or some english channels to there Latino Max.Also anyone know if D* and E* have the same picture quality?

I could be wrong but wasn't Telemundo International moved to ch 620 from 626?

I even thought that was done on purpose - to free up ch 626 for this new Telemundo West...

[Edit] - actually - I am not even sure if Telemundo International WAS moved to 620 recently (or was just there all the time) - all i am saying - i am just pretty sure Telemundo International is currently on 620.l..and upcoming Telemundo West will be on 626...

620 is the regular Telemundo east.

620 is Telemundo East, 626 will be west. It is scheduled to be turned on in early February according to the Dish Price Increase letter ($1 more for Dish Latino) I received along with my ppv coupon.

telemundo international was more like a news channel with other programing not on telemundo, i don't know why they took it off since D* has it and the cnn en espanol just sucks
