4 tuner limit on Dish???

I was looking into Dish Network and was told they limit you to FOUR TUNERS. Is that true?

I was interested in getting 3 dual tuner DVR's, and possibly a single tuner receiver...

They will only lease you up to 4 tuners... but you can buy more than that. Not sure what the limit to bought + leased is, though.

that is right. 4 leased tuners. anything you actually own doesn't count.

How do you own it? I called them and the told me only one HD-DVR, I asked if I could pay extra for more, they said no way.

Best bet, check out Dish Store. Better deals, lots more knowledge.

In most cases you can only have a maximum of 6 total on an account. I have been told that this has been waived for some people.

I think its 6 receivers per account, not tuners.. even the counting has to be confusing..
