Will Brian Leetch Night ceremonies be on NHL CI?

Basically, the title says it all. There is nothing in the guide in the 700's NHL CI channels to show that they will start showing tonight's Rangers/Thrashers game prior to its scheduled start time of 8 pm. I did set my DVR to start recording on MSG HD at 6:30 when the ceremonies begin.

Does anyone have any idea about what will be shown?

Well they did show all of Messier a few years ago by turning on MSG although I can't remember if they also had it on in the 700's:)

No idea. I justed sub'd to SportsPack for the night so I can see the ceremony on MSG HD (621). You'll have to post on here if D* turns on MSG 621 @ 6:30pm tonight for the ceremony. I would bet it will be blacked out unless you live in the NY DMA or have SportsPack. The game doesn't actually start until 8pm.

I was watching about 10 minutes of it before getting "This program is not available in your area" message. I have both Sports Pack and CI. This stinks!

621 (HD & SD) is on in the sports pack here with the pre-game show.

Sorry you guys couldn't see it but it was fantastic. The place was jumping and they won the game even though they played like c*** for 2 1/2 periods. I guess JD showed up on TV but wasn't out on the ice. Saw him leaving the TV booth. They are replaying it on MSG all day but I don't know if it will be blacked out.

JD was in the booth for the 2nd period. Man was it nice hearing him with Sam again. Nothing against Joe Mic, but Sam and JD just fit like a glove together.

I watched it only because I ordered Sportspack prior to the game. Nice ceremony. I am trying to log in to cancel Sportspack, but they are having computer problems.

Depending on your situation it might be cheaper to keep Sportspack since I believe they will charge you a $10 fee if you cancel a premium service within 30 days.
