I bought a Terk Outdoor OTA and it works well but for some reason I get blips or loss of a channel while watching. The signal strength is 99 but I still lose the channel from time to time.

I'm using 100' of G6 cabling. Should I get a booster and if so can someone recommend a good one?

Thanks,

The signal could be dropping out because of wind even if it's not low the picture will break up if their are signal drops of 5% or more.

Yes, with that length of cable a pre-amp would definitely be in order. Check out solidsignal.com. They have a good selection of pre-amps as well as everything else needed for OTA. Also check all your connections especially the ones exposed to the outside. Use a good quality compression connector.

Hey, thanks for the info. Very valuable!

I have noticed that when it's windy, my signal strength drops quite a bit.

I'll get a pre-amp ASAP!

Cheers,
