I have received my update on my receiver and have noticed two things. My OTA signal now reads 100% vs the 77% it used to. The Directv side of things my signal levels are down on all of them a lot...I was at acceptable levels now it seems to be in the area you don't want to be. Picture quality seems ok at this time. Also checking these levels is a gamble and STILL does not work correctly. Once again Directv cannot get it right. When will the signal meters ever be correct?

My signal meters work exactly as expected and correlate 100% with the signal level meters in my Samsung HL-R5667W. Your mileage obviously varies, so it would be interesting to see how many people are having this problem, and why someone like me, who is an OTA freak is not seeing the problem at all.

The values populate much quicker now and changing from sat to sat is MUCH faster. Cool!

Someone posted before that there was a bug in the HR20s that pegged them at 77% even if the signal was stronger than that. Since I got the update, my HR20s now go past 77% but I see no difference in the D* sat signals. Mine are mostly between 94 & 100.

Do you mean the SATELLITE signal meters seem to give the wrong readings? I don't think anyone else has found that, my guess is that your signal levels ARE lower, for a reason that has nothing to do with the update. And as for being a "gamble", any problem in particular? I have never had any significant problem with the signal meters on my HR20-700, my HR20-100 or my HR21.
