I keep reading that if you buy an add-on receiver DirecTV will charge $99 to install?
My first install is next week with two receivers, I plan to buy two more from Costco right after to add them on. Will I have to pay $99 when I call DirecTV to intall the two additional boxes?
The DirecTV rep told me if I buy additional add on receivers from any DirecTV authorized retailer the installation will be free?

Why don't you get all the units from Directv and have them installed at the same time. The units at Costco are a little cheaper, but they do add taxes when you get them there which reduces any savings. Your initial setup may not require a multiswitch and one may be required with the next two units if any of the four are DVR's.
That is just something to consider. Good luck on your install. :)

DirecTV charges $199 plus tax too.
My initial plan was to keep my two Dish 622s, use two DirecTV HR21s and add more HR21s till I completely swtich to DirecTV. Then I realized we have only one ideal location to install a dish, so the Dish1000 must come down for the Slimline to take its place.
Now the sad thing is DirecTV will not let people modify an order, I must cancel the order and do a new order to get all 4 HR21s from DirecTV, which means my already two-week late intallation will be pushed back by another two weeks.
