Hello,
I have had a HR20-100 for over 6 months without any major issues at all. About 5 days ago I noticed audio issues on my Detroit NBC HD station. This happend before the latest software release and still persists after. The best way that I can describe the issue is that about avery 15 - 30 seconds I get an audio glitch similar to the "machine gun" sound that I get every so often where the audio drops out for a minute or so. I started trouble-shooting and discovered that all of my local HD channels have this issue, but NBC has it the worst. The SD versions and all of my other HD channels are fine. Here is what I have done so far:
*This happens with DD on or off
*HDMI through the TV and Component through my reciever are the same
*Signal strength is 80 or above
*No cable issues found
*Happens with both tuners
*Swapped BBCs
*Unplugged, did a complete RESET, and did a REFORMAT as well
Nothing fixes the issue.
I don't know if this would be a bad HR20 or not.
Any ideas???
Thanks
