It's been months now that we've had new HD channels. So, when is D* gonna get with the program and add the appropriate channel logos to the banner??

Seriously, I am the only one wondering about this?

I wouldn't mind knowing what DIRECTV's though is on this. It bugs me the logo's aren't there too.

Probably not the only one, but probably also people are fretting about larger issues (to them, at least). I miss the old "turbo" function where you could assign like 20 icons from which to very quickly pick favorite channels.

I know that the new icons are coming, and I know it's been several months, and I wish I knew more than that.

They will come in a future national release.

I guess I don't see it as a big issue.

I guess I don't see it as a big issue.Agreed. The current icons seem to do the trick of giving me a quick visual clue as to which channel I'm watching.

Its agrivating, especially because they could simply assign the already existing logos from the SD side. In a few years saying "ESPN-HD" will be like saying "The following program is presented in Living Color on NBC" eventually became.

I think that the issue that they are referring to is channels on which there are no "current icons".

Ah, my mistake. RIF. I think I read that somewhere. :p

Things must be improving at DirecTV if this issue is considered important enough to complain about.

You're kidding right? Have you seen the issue threads from the last few CEs? That's still no excuse for failing to put this trivial fix in. Maybe if they dedicated some resources to fixing some of the things that they actually can easily fix, the bug/issue list would start getting shorter instead of continually growing longer.

I agree it would be nice if the updated channel HD logos were there. Not a big problem though.. I'd rather have DLB. ;-)

If the logos are part of the FW then it may be an issue with the size of the FW. Does anyone know how much memory the HR20/21 have and how much is currently used?

Getting a stable system is much more important than channel logos. IMHO

No, I'm not kidding. :nono: I don't follow CE issues.

My trivial issue that I'd like to see fixed, though, is that when I have finished listening to an XM radio channel and I switch to a TV channel I have to hit Exit to remove the XM info banner. Certainly not a show-stopper.
