Recently, I have gotten a couple of recordings that were of a gray screen, yet the sound was there with no apparent issues.
One was an episode of American Chopper recorded off Disc HD, not HD Theater, so I assume it was from Mpeg4. The other was a recording of Ghost Whisperer. Only my wife watches it and she set it up, so I am pretty sure it was recorded on the MPEG4 local as the differences between the OTA locals and MPEG4 does not bother her as much as it does me.
Is this related to the 771 bug on Mpeg 4 channels? I did get that briefly one time over the weekend but a channel up/down was able to fix it.
