Upgraded my second HR-10 for 20 bucks

I called Saturday to upgrade the HR-10 to the HR-20 in the bedroom and they gave it to me for $19.95 shipping and handling with a two year commitment. With these boxes becoming more and more obsolete I decided it was time. I so loved my Tivo software but these new boxes are pretty nice once you get used to them.

No they didn't. I now have two HR-10's collecting dust. One I paid a grand for and the other "leased".

You might as well salvage the hard drive from the leased unit but you can sell your other HR10 on ebay for at least a few bucks. You can always use either one as an OTA tuner for your HD locals. Just keep it connected to the dish and you'll always have guide data. You just won't be able to record anything with them.
