Because Directv has the exclusive rights to the "Sunday Ticket" until at least 2006, how much does this hurt Cables Digital Cable packages?

Not too much. We aren't talking about millions of people here. I'd say DirecTV not having HD locals will hurt more in the long run than Cable not having NFLST.
