I want Wish List! [Archive]

With the advent of all these great software improvements on the HR20/HR21, I would like the software engineers to work on the tried and true Tivo feature we all know and love as Wish Lists. Yes, I know it's trade marked with Tivo, but boy oh boy, can't we come up with something similar?

The search function is ok, but really, I want Directv to have some sort of Wish List feature!

Thanks for the rant. Anyone agree with me??

Autorecord works as a great wishlist. I have one setup to record anything and everything with Eddie Izzard in it, it never misses a thing.

I would LOVE a wishlist LIKE feature (I know they can't just implement Wishlist). I don't trust auto-recording, and some searches, I need to last 8-10 months, and thousands of searches later.

I don't want Suggestions. I want the ability to have more than 25 searches, and to keep them for as long as I want. Being able to search for all of them at once would be nice too.

Not all of us want to use our DVR via the internet. Besides, using the internet scheduling is blind, I can't tell if there are any conflicts.

Limiting the searches to 25 is a real pain. How about having the ability to save more like 100. On top of that give me the option to save a search or execute it only.

That is not a "Wish List" just suggestions. Need a wish list you can set and forget. Whenever your show comes on it will be recorded. Search and record is only for 2 weeks and will record channels you don't get. I' an HR2x fan and have 5 of them, but I have 1 HR10 so I can use wish list for SD movies.
