I have a HR10-250 where one of the tuners seems to have died (says searching for sat). I called directv customer service to notify them. I told them that I had switched the cables going to the 2 tuners on the back and that it wasn't a cabling problem since my other tuner is working fine. They had me reboot the unit, etc.. and the tuner still was broken. Now they're sending out a technician (lucky for me I have the protection plan) to see if he can fix it. Will the technician swap out the bad tuner or will he do what I've already done (swap the cables going to the tuner, reboot, etc...)? On a unrelated note, is there any chance I'll get a replacement HR10-250 to replace this defective one? I'm not getting my hopes up.
