Currently I have my Directv account suspended while I am staying in a rental house. I will be moving to the house I am buying in March and have a few questions.
1. I am assuming I will need to unsuspend my account prior to using the movers connection. Does any one know if this is correct?
2. The house I am purchasing currently has a Directv dish install on the roof. It is the single lnb. I will be using the slimline. Will they install the slimline in the same location or can I have them install it some where else?
3. The house only has single runs to each room, I will be using dvr's in four rooms and will need an extra cable run for those four rooms. Will this be included in the movers connection or will I have to pay for the extra runs? I'm fine paying, I just don't want to be suprised on the day of the install.
4. The way the Directv system was installed seems odd to me. The cables are ran down the side of the house into a wood channel that runs all the way around the house. I am assuming the cables are run through the channel are run into the rooms through the outside walls. I am hoping this is not the case as the wood channel looks really bad and I would like to remove it. Has anyoned seen an install done like this before?
