HR21: Problem with setting up "Lost" to record series???

Hey guys,

Weird issue last night. With the return of "Lost" this Thursday...FINALLY...I was trying to set up to record the entire season.

- I went to the Thursday, 8PM (EST) new "Lost" episode (the new episode which is basically a recap of last year)
- I selected to record series, new episodes only

When I went to the To-Do list, it shows the 8PM - 9PM recap episode as the only one scheduled. The 9PM new episode isn't scheduled...nor is next week's episode...or any other.

I checked my record settings several times and it looks fine. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Sometimes it just take a while to populate the to do list. Check it tonight and it will likley show the ones you expect.

Howdy neighbor!

Like shedberg said the episodes won't be added instantly. It will take a bit for the unit to find all the episodes and determine which to record. Since your post was around 8:30 I'd say you should see the other 3 episodes [2 on Thursday and 1 next Thursday] setup by 9:30ish. Don't worry, it will happen.

One way to possibly speed this up is to put the unit into standby mode.

My Lost series link took a while to find everything too, but it did eventually catch them all.

This was not true for The New Adventures of Old Christine, however. It comes back on next Wednesday with 2 episodes back to back. I marked the first one to record all episodes. 3 days later it still hasn't found the second one.
