Anybody watch it? What did you think?

I'm recording, since I wanna catch up on my reading here and other places. So I'll comment on it tomorrow, both for those who did watch please tell us what you think. From the previews this show looks awesome. Also don't forget, the new Dragnet starts this Sunday on ABC also.

I went into last night's new ABC programming thinking that Veritas would be really great and Miracles would be OK. After watching both, I thought that Veritas was the biggest mess of a program that I've seen in a long time and Miracles totally blew me away. I liked just about everything about Miracles, to the point that from now on I'll record CSI Miami and watch Miracles.

I liked it. Not as good as 24, but definitely quality programming. I had a hard time understanding it at first.

Anyone who recorded it. Did he really see GOD IS NOW HERE or GOD IS NOWHERE? Or is this ambigious at this time?

New frame-by-frame feature came very handy to see that creepy face that shows up only for a fraction of a second during dream sequences.

I think it's a great show ... but I am boycotting WOI (ABC) in Des Moines since they are dragging their asses with getting their DT channel on the air ... oh, and refusing to sign for retrans with DISH Network ... oh ... or DirecTV .... oh yeah, and they are going to put out 480i crapvision too. Did I mention they don't give a damn about their HD viewers and left us without the SuperBowl even though they said they would get on the air by then?

This may be a dumb question, but if your boycotting your local ABC station, how did you get to see Miracles, doesn't sound like your in an area eligible for distants. Just curious :)

BTW- I got through half of Miracles, put down the remote to go to the kitchen and now I can't find my PVR remote. :( It's pretty good so far, I didn't recognize Skeet Ulrich at first.

The blood definitely spelled "God is Now Here", at least that is my recollection.

Easy ... I started my boycott AFTER Superbowl Sunday was over and all my "guests" were gone on Tuesday. They sometimes like to hang out a few extra days. :) So Monday night they were all watching it.
There are a lot of us in the Des Moines area that are sending boycott emails to the local businesses that advertise on WOI-TV since they are refusing to sign a retrans with DISH or DirecTV, and have broken promise after promise in getting their HDTV channel on the air. We are just fed up. It goes something like this ....

"As television viewers in Des Moines, we understand that your company advertises on WOI-TV Channel 5. We would like you to be aware, if you are not already, that there are a significant number of viewers in the Des Moines market that can no longer view WOI-TV. Thus, your target audience has been limited. In November, Dish Network began serving the Des Moines market and all major local stations with the exception of WOI have reached a carriage agreement with Dish Network. As more and more viewers switch from Mediacom to Dish Network, your WOI-TV advertising is reaching a smaller audience. We hope that you will join us in expressing your concern about this situation to WOI-TV and encourage them to reach an agreement with Dish Network."

The first one was really good. But this past Mondays was even better. Man what a storyline, have a commercial airliner go into a time warp for 64 seconds where everyone experiences their thoughts. The idea about the nurse being burned and then coming back on the table was awesome!
