Ok - I'm scheduled for install tomorrow morning, and I've just found out (by reading here) that my pole is apparently a different size than the new dishes require. Is there anything I can do TODAY to fix this? I know about the ebay adapter, but our dual LNB dish is toast and I'd like the install tomorrow if possible.
Also, anybody have pics of a 5lnb dish on a pole mount? Can't find any.
Any help?

They sometimes carry a sleeve that makes the conversion for you.

Cool - is this sort of thing available at Lowes? 1-3/4" to 2" seems like it would be a pretty common conversion factor.

My installer had the adapter with him. You can call the contractor and ask.

Apparently DRAINAGE PIPE can be used as a SLEEVE to solve this problem quickly....

Thanks! Looking into going with this solution. At least for now.

Thanks to everyone at dbstalk! I wouldn't have a pole mount anymore if it weren't for this site. The installer said he was going to go buy some pvc/abs pipe, as it worked that great. He also ran a self tapping screw in it, so it can't rotate AT ALL.
I'll snap a pic maybe tomorrow (supposed to be getting 6-8" of snow - glad I can reach it to clean it off!).
