A message from El Jefe states that the Daystar Affiliate KWKD now has the following message on the EPG: "Moving to channel 9408 January 29." For those that don't know, channel 9408 is the neational Daystar channel.
The question is: what's happeing with YOUR Daystar network affiliate?
Specifically:
KRMT-TV 41 (Daystar - Denver) 8207
KDTP-TV 39 (Daystar - Phoenix) 8333
KLTJ-TV 22 (Daystar - Galveston/Houston) 8383
KMPX TV 29 (Daystar Decatur/Dallas/Ft. Worth) 8413
WYDN-TV 48 (Daystar - Worcester) 8783
Is there any indication that these channels will be removed?
See ya

Tony, I just checked the guide for KRMT. same message. DISH must have made a deal toput on national and drop locals.

Okay, thanks guys. All the Daystar locals are being removed in favor of the Daystar national feed. Now here is the question: if the Daystar channel is the only one you are requesting to get your free side sat Dish...do you still get it? :D

I've already got mine. No shortage of shopping channels
and other "satellators" in this market, though. I hope
they all eventually work out a deal with DISH to carry
only the national feed and free up bandwidth.
I'm beginning to get soured on US cable programming,
and I'm too cheap to pay extra for premium channels,
since their usual fare is bad movies that will hit the
other channels in a few weeks or months anyway.
Maybe the Canadian services have a little something
fresh to offer. Maybe not.
