Run 2nd Jack?

I had negotiated free install / hr20 upgrade. They also promised an installation of a 2nd jack in my bedroom here the old tivo would go.

Of course they show up with an hr21 which I guess I'll live with. But the installer said that he couldn't drop a 2nd line into my bedroom without charging me extra. Is this normal? Should I complain to DTV, and if so, is it possible to get them to come back without me paying?

I'm fairly frustrated. When I got my HR10 installed way back when, they refused to install the 2nd jack in the bedroom. This time around I explicitly asked for one and they said it would be included.

Hard to tell by your post but fishing a cable in a wall is not free. D* free basic install covers connecting to existing RG6 cable or wrapping the new cable around the exterior of your house, drilling a hole and running the cable straight through the exterior wall closest to your tv (from outside the house to inside), and connecting the receiver.

Crawl space work and attic work are free with some companies and a charge with others.
