501 Search Sked problem?

I recently got my 501 receiver, and am currently upgraded to the P168 software update.

When I do a search for a program, if I remember correctly, it used to search through the next 6 days for a program. But recently (after the software update), my system seemed to stop updating its schedule. Finally, last night it "ran out" of days to search, and a message popped up saying it was out of date, would I like to download the latest sked? I clicked yes and waited a few minutes, but it only downloaded one day's worth of sked.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this normal behavior? BTW, I hardly ever turn the receiver off, but I did one night during this experiment.

First off, what is the strength of 110 transponder 29? If you are getting no signal lock, then you will have problems. Transponder 29 carries both the severn day guide AND Dish Home.

Also, you need to turn off the receiver when not in use. The receiver can then get grab the guide upgrades.
