ota hd antenna programing on guide

I have an ota hd antenna but no programming shows up on the guide for those channels so in turn i cannot dvr any future programs are there any solutions for this problem? Now the guide just says digital service on those channels

You must subscribe to DISH Locals in order to have guide data for OTA locals. :)
If you prefer not to subscribe to DISH locals, you can still record your OTA's using Manual Timers.
Each recording will say "Manual Timer," but you can edit the name after the recording is complete.

Do U sub to your locals? It is necessary to sub to those to get the info on the EPG. Even if it is the local in SD it's the only way to get guide info. Otherwise it will just say digital service. You should have done a search of the forum and would most likely have found this info.

how do you do a manual timer for OTA programming hooked into the reciever?
Once you know the time and date of the OTA program you wish to record, set up a Manual Timer for that channel, time and date.
After the recording is complete, highlight it in the DVR menu, select Edit, and change the name. (optional)
You will find Manual Timer Setup in the DVR Menu >Schedule >Timers > Manual Timer.
