My brother just bought a house and of course......I'm indebted to help him with the ~tech~ side of things.

I'm assuming it's market driven.....as I'm not seeing ALOT of offering's on the Siamese RG6 Quad Shielded Cabling (interior runs). Just short of Perfect Vision, I'm not seeking alot of manuf. with this type of cable.

If not, I'll just have to make a makeship wire caddy as my caddy holds one *large* spool at the most.

Never did like the bundled cables from a cost perspective, but then again, it's quite a bit of timesaver.

If your brother will be using DirecTV as opposed to OTA or analog cable, quad shield is probably not needed. Even then (OTA) it probably isn't highly important unless he is located pretty close to a tv transmitter.

More important than quad shield is solid copper center conductor. You do want to use that, whether it is single or siamese.

Unless your brother is planning on running a separate OTA or CATV feed, a single cable should suffice once DIRECTV gets serious about SWM. All other opportunities work fine with a single cable.

Don't forget to run CAT6 with the coax (even if you don't use it).

Oh the joys of labor of running your own bundled cable....2 coaxes & 2 network
I like them on wooden spools since they tend to roll/less kinking better in my experience. Even with a helper doing the electrical tape wrap as we unfeed the cables...

Makes those $$ bundled cables look like they're worth it at times.
Belden makes a nice one with dual bare copper tri shields in a bundled version
