My buddy has an R15-300 and he had it set up to record the Super Bowl on Greenville, SC Channel 21. It shows as recorded in the History but when he goes to watch it the screen is all black and the blue ring just rotates. Any idea what happened?

I am actually kinda surprised no one else had this problem. Maybe it was just a fluke thing for him.

Well Wednesday night he can re-record it, if he so wishes on NFL Network!

Actually, I had the same problem when my daughter recorded Figure Skating on -- I think -- WLOS. Prior to that, we noticed momentary pauses during replay of shows. I reset the receiver, and it seems to be ok now.

Okay thanks I forgot about the replay. I will let him know. I had him reset it. I think it was just a fluke thing.

Actually, it is "the LOVE of the Giants that is the root of evil", if you really want to parallel the scripture..... :D

To answer the OP....
The specific unit must have had some kind of signal issue at that time, as I recorded the game on 2 HR20's and one HR21 without incident.
I was going to say the good guys won, but there were no good guys playing in the game this past Sunday - more like a lesser of 2 evils..... :D
