deactivate/reactivate HD DVR?

i know... i'm full of questions today but i didn't want to combine the two since they are two separate issues!

they are bringing two new HD DVRS by this evening to replace what they think are 2 defective DVRS.... (can't get the lower local HD channels, if your haven't seen my other threads)

my question: if they go ahead and hook up one of the DVRS.... then see that it/they have the same problem (no lower locals)... which means of course they have to activate the new one.... can they turn around and take the new one (with no recordings) back and reactivate/let me keep the one(s) that i've collected show on? (am i making sense?)

They usually won't de-activate your old ones, until they have confirmed that the new ones are working

ok... good! thanx!!!!!! (uhm... but if they do deactivate... will they reactivate? i didn't get a warm fuzzy with the guy we had last ngiht that he knew what he was doing!?!)

Just tell them not to deactivate until they confirm.
But yes, they can re-activate

Just make sure you are 100% satisfied before they leave. Take all the time you need.
